We joined the Ballincollig Fire Brigade and the Cork branch of the National Ambulance Service in a major accident simulation. As we form part of the Major Incident Plan for the region, these events allow us to train alongside our full-time colleagues, giving us an appreciation of their skill set and offering them a chance to point out our strengths and weaknesses. We feedback this into our training plan.

Working together, the responders treated, prioritised, and extracted casualties. It was an excellently organised event and we would like to thank both Ballincollig Fire Brigade and the HSE paramedics for giving us this opportunity.
